In each of the sub-fields of Pre-Calculus (Conic Sections, Sequences and Series, Probability and Combinatorics, Complex Numbers, Hyperbolic Functions, and limits) I have had experience tutoring over the last 7 years. I have actively tutored this field of Mathematics for about 4 years. In the last 3 years, I have tutored this field in addition to my classes in an after school tutoring program. As the oldest of four, I have taught since a very early age. I officially started tutoring in high school through the Math Club, and have tutored at the HCC campuses of Southshore, Brandon, and Plant Cit [more]

I have been tutoring Precalculus with much success for years. I have three BAs and have taken through Calculus 2 engineering with an A. The summer is here, but school is heating up. If you or your student is having difficulty, it is best to deal with these issues before the grades reflect problems. Or if you are studying for the SAT or ACT or PERT during the summer, I have had great success with helping students marvelously improve their point score. Why not consider a tutor? Whether you take online classes , home-school or are struggle with a difficult course; you may need a tutor. A [more]

Pre-Calculus is a subject that I tutor often at Hillsborough Community College. As a math major it is a subject that I must have in the back of my pocket; I feel very confident in tutoring this subject. I began college as a tuba/jazz performance major and at some point realized that music was not the path for me. While taking my general education requirements, I came to find that I enjoy the thrill of math and science. I still work as a musician but appreciate music more because of my math skills. I am currently an undergraduate at the University of South Florida studying physics and mathe [more]

I have taught Precalculus for over 2 years in the classroom setting. I have taught math for the past 10 years ranging from middle school to the college level. During this time I also have experience tutoring professionally at the high school and college levels. I am very knowledgeable about Florida state standards and I will help you get there. I teach with a love for math and this will come across from our first meeting. I have the patience to teach all students even those that don't get math quickly. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals in... [more]

I have 15 years tutoring experience, especially math through calc 2. I recently relocated from the northeast to Wesley Chapel, FL in order to be closer to family and be as far away from those cold snowy winters as possible. For the better part of 10 years I played professional poker, which requires a high level of intelligence, keen observation and adaptability, and a strong foundation in mathematics. On top of that, I started a private SAT prep business with a former English Professor in Philadelphia in 2004. He took care of the English, I took care of t... [more]

Hi, my name is Stephen F. I am a teacher at Hillsborough County. I am currently certified to teach 6-12 Math. On my downtime I like being out on and in the water - kayaking, paddle boarding or just being on the beach. I've taught students who struggled in Algebra. It's really not that difficult, it may be c... [more]

I'm a current graduate student in Applied Physics at the University of South Tampa.
