I have experience tutoring high school and college students in algebra through precalculus, working together to improve their grades (some by as many as 20 points in a short couple of months!), as well as focus on test preparation (like the End of Course test). My goal in precalculus, as it is in any subject, is to raise students' confidence as they prepare to enter the more difficult field of calculus and college algebra.
