Math is an integral part of understanding engineering concepts. While calculus is considered the most used math in the field, it really all starts with the fundamentals leading up to calculus. These include algebra, precalculus, and trigonometry. After years of using these extensively, I have internalized much of this math, but I still enjoy it greatly and would like to teach others to use it as well. I am a recent materials engineering graduate from Brown University. Having gone from a high school with limited resources in El Paso to an Ivy League University, I have seen the importance and im [more]
