I earned my B. A. in Mathematics from Pomona College, a top liberal arts college, in 1986. During my teaching career I taught Precalculus for approximately sixteen years at the high school level. Several of those classes were for dual enrollment credit, meaning the students could obtain college credit for taking the class. Since this serves as a foundation for Calculus, it is important for a student to have a strong background in Precalculus. It is a challenging class, but with the help of an experienced and knowledgeable tutor, it can be conquered. [more]
