I've been tutoring Precalculus for several years and find it one of the most interesting math courses to tutor. Part of the course is an amplified version of Algebra 2 and the other part is completely new, with trigonometric functions and the unit circle. It can also be the most challenging high school math courses a student takes, more challenging than AP Calculus for some. I'm a certified math teacher and taught high school math for Plano ISD for 5 years, so am familiar with the sequencing and material in the high school curriculum, including the recent changes introduced in 2015.
