Probability is NOT intuitive. I find this subject challenging -- so I understand where the student is coming from -- this stuff is NOT self-evident. Let's work through the twists and turns together -- we'll both benefit. I hold two master's degrees -- one in applied mathematics, one in physics. I started teaching math in 1999. While many of the intervening years saw me as a part-time adjunct instructor of mathematics, I did enjoy a full-time appointment to the math faculty of Alabama A&M University for 5 of those years. I have also used my skills in industry and government, most notably at NAS [more]

I have also taught probability for 3 years as part of math subjects I tutor. At MIT I got a bachelor of science degree and a master of engineering degree, each in "electrical engineering and computer science". My GPA for my BSc. degree is 4.2/5.0 and my GPA for my M.Eng degree is 4.6/5.0. I have always had a passion for math, the sciences, computer science and engineering and always excelled in them from high [more]

I'm currently an Electrical Engineering student at UAH. I'm also an Air National traditional guard. I have tutored both middle school and high school students in Poetry and Math. I enjoy tutoring and helping other scholars because I know how hard it is to understand math. I will do my best to help you understand math, but if I don't understand a certain problem, I will do all the research I can to help you. My current GPA is 3.7. I have taken College level: Calculus 1, 2, 3, Differential Equa... [more]
