I have been using/programming in Python for about 12-13 years. I program both professionally as well as for fun, privately. Further, "teaching" has always been a mainstay for me, with regards "computers" and programming; again personally and professionally. Helping family members, colleagues, upper management... translating what i know into laymen's terms is integral to every interaction I have with others about what I do. On a selfish note, I get great personal satisfaction helping others overcome hurdles, especially with school! [more]

I used Python throughout my undergrad, as it was a favorite of the mathematics department. I used it while studying numerical analysis algorithms, linear programming, and optimization algorithms. Hey! I'm Ashton, and I studied Mathematics at GVSU. For two years, I worked at Grand Valley's math center as an advanced tutor, and worked with students of all levels of ability - from those just starting out with math, to engineering students in Calculus 3 or Linear Algebra, to math majors who needed a little extra help with their discrete math or abstract algebra class. I earned a spot as one of the [more]

I have been programming in Python for three years. I have taken three courses at MIT that rely heavily on coding in Python, and I have created programs for solving graph problems, implementing dynamic programming, and creating visual planetary models. I'm an MIT undergrad working towards a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. On top of programming, math, and science, I love reading, playing the piano, and learning new things! I have experience tutoring and love sharing my passion for discovery and knowledge with others. During high school, I spent hours and hours studying for the ACT an [more]

I taught a course on introduction to computer science for engineering technology and part of the course was programming in Python. I am currently working with it in the development of a couple of research projects. I have a background in numerical methods and engineering applications. I am an engineer, with degrees in Ocean Engineering (BS, MS), Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (MS), and Civil Engineering (PhD). I have taught high school and university students in tutoring and traditional classrooms. I have taught simple mathematics to complex numerical schemes, basic, core, and design engi [more]

I use Python in data communication with the UDP and TCP protocols. I have also been using it with Arduino Uno and Mega in Robotic projects. I have also used it and taught it in Web Designing implementing client / server connections. I am Wendy Sagesse, and i am from Haiti. I moved in the US since 2008 following to my second year attending Haiti State University in the pursuit of my Electrical Engineering degree. Since I moved here, tutoring became my primary means of income. I've done it for some educational institutions such as the college I was enrolled in, DACC, as well as an independent tu [more]

I've used python to do everything from computer vision to controls. I'm comfortable with many useful external libraries (e.g. scikit-image, opencv, scikit-learn, numpy, etc...). I use python a lot for proof-of-concept, and it's my go-to language. I really like the object-oriented approach without having to be strict in typecasting etc... I have a PhD and a Master's from University of Arizona and a degree in Math and Physics from Northern Arizona University. I've had a passion for math and science for much of my life. I try very hard to use this passion to excite and educate learners of th [more]

I've written plenty of programs using python including web scrapers, games, and a bunch of various programming exercises (things like Hangman, tic tac toe, pig latin translators, etc). I've also already tutored a student and helper her with an intro to CS class, which was taught in python. Hello! My name is Adam B. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Michigan College of Engineering majoring in Computer Science. I am also pursuing a minor in Mathematics. I?m offering to teach both any high school level math class, including the ACT, and Computer Science courses. Throughout my [more]

I have taken 2-3 graduate level courses using Python. I code in Python from time to time to create my shell scripts for my PhD dissertation. I also use Python for data visualization and data manipulation. I'm a 3rd year PhD student at The Ohio State University in Statistical Genetics/Bioinformatics. I'm proficient at using R and Python for data cleaning, visualization, and analysis. R is my area of expertise and primary tool and is the language in which I perform most of my tutoring sessions in. I can help with assignments or projects. My capabilities with R are quite diverse, ranging from bas [more]

As my profile shows, I am currently a PhD student in Computer Science. I am able to program through SQL, SAS, R, C, Python and JAVA. I have a published paper on Artificial Neural Network, in which all the models realized though Python Programming. I've been working as Teaching Assistant in the State University of New York at Stony Brook for one year. With a solid educational background in Mathematics for more than 7 years, I'm good at teaching various fields in Math. Such as Statistics, Probability, Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, logic, Mathematical Programming, etc. If you need any help in [more]

I have been using Python during my graduate studies at Stevens. I have developed many applications which are in current sites. I am using Python 2,7 and have integrated with many applications. I have an example of a site that I developed the backend for using web2py. A sample is available upon request. I have taken many advanced courses in mathematics for my undergrad degree in Engineering Physics and my Master's and PhD in Computer Engineering. I have in-depth knowledge of Mathematics. I am an Engineer by profession and have been involved in academics throughout my career. I love to teach and [more]
