I've used python for over ten years and have been tutoring it for two and a half years. I know the nuts and bolts of how Python is implemented "under the hood" and can apply that experience to show how to write slick, elegant, clear code. I've also used many of Python's most popular libraries and frameworks, including numpy, pandas, tensorflow, and django. I'm looking to connect with students on a one-on-one level. I'm a recent Ph.D. from the University of North Texas, and have over five years of experience teaching a variety of college classes and computer science classes, as well as one-on [more]

I teach Computer Science / Computer programming class at the University of Texas at Dallas as part of the TexPREP program for achieving high school students interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). The primary computer programming language taught is Python. I am a certified teacher with certifications in Mathematics and Physical Science (Physics/Chemistry). Most recently I worked at the high school level teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and AP Statistics. Additionally, I teach Probability & Statistics, Precalculus, and Computer Science (Python Programming) as part of t [more]

I've got nearly a decade of experience tutoring and teaching, and a few years experience tutoring programming specifically. I've know Python since I was in high school, and I've used it off and on over the years. In particular, I've used it to complete all of my assignments and projects in my computational physics course, all of which I received good grades for. I've also used Python to write small GUI applications. I've worked in a tutoring or teaching role for most of my adult life, and I love helping other people learn! While earning my B.S. in math, I worked in my university's math clinic [more]

I have worked as a computer programmer for more than 10 years. I have programmed in Java, and Python. I can help student achieve their grades goal by helping them on their assignments. I am a software engineer with 16 years of working experience in the industry and around 3 years of experience in teaching high school and undergraduate students. I can teach basic algorithms in Java, C++ and C#. I can also teach Web (Front-end/Back-end) development using latest technologies. I have worked on multiple web/mobile as well as middleware project so I can provide practical examples when I teach to [more]

As a mentor to several students, I have helped them create applications in Python, Java and Matlab. These applications involved user interface, sophisticated mathematical models and graphing. The problems involved solving disease spread, prediction of pathways of breast and pancreatic cancer, and HIV infection response to medication. If you were to ask me "What is one thing that is important to you?", my answer would be learning. I am passionate about learning and to me it is imperative; the day I stop learning is the day I would consider myself as non existent. That is the primary reason I [more]
