I have been tutoring students studying for Regents in NY for 5 years. My bachelors in Biology, coupled with all of the requirements I took, enabled me to tutor many different Regents exams. I have tutored for Regents Chemistry, Physics, Biology and will be tutoring additional science and math regents this year. All of my students have done quite well on the Regents exams. I have a bachelors in Biology with 7 years of research experience in addition to being a co-author of 2 papers. I am a first year medical student at PCOM DO class of 2022. I love tutoring and have been doing it since high sc [more]

Having grown up in New York State, I have personally taken more than a dozen Regents exams. I have helped students in preparing for the following exams: English; biology; math at all levels; history and earth science. During my first year of teaching, I had a few students in my homeroom who were preparing for their geometry regents and I was able to help them. Each day, more and more students showed up to join them for the tutoring sessions. By the time May came, I had 30 students joining me after school to partake of the help. Each of them received a grade of 85 or higher with 14 of the [more]

The Integrated Algebra Regents goes over the topics of the algebra 1, statistics, probability, and the very basic geometry ideas of area and perimeter. The Geometry Regents goes over the topics of geometry (constructions, loci, triangle and circle proofs, and transformations). The Algebra 2/Trig Regents contains the topics of algebra 2, probability, statistics, and trigonometry. I have gone through the subject tests on all these different topics covered by the math regents, and have tutored these parts in the past for students through WyzAnt. These pieces come together as an entire regents r [more]

I have a Bachelor's and two Master's degrees, one of which is from the School of Education at NYU. I have taught and counseled for over 20 years, and my primary age group has been high schoolers, where I have taught or tutored English, Global History, US History, Italian, and even some math and science (not interested however in those last two subjects for WyzAnt). I also do test prep of all kinds for this age group --- SAT, ACT, TOEFL, and Regents --- mostly English, Global & US History (grades 3-8 Regents in ELA & Math as well), all of which I have done for you in the past two and a half yea [more]

I have taken multiple Regents exams in high school. I have taken the Regents for math (integrated algebra, geometry, algebra 2/ trigonometry), Earth science, biology, chemistry, English, history/ geography social studies, and Spanish. I received at least a 90 on all Regents exams. I graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in December 2015. I have spent the past year working as a packaging engineer for a company that manufactures medical devices. My degree required years of math and mechanical engineering classes, which I performed very well in. I have tak [more]

I received an Advanced Regents diploma upon graduation because I got an average of 90+ on all my regents, which include Chem, Physics, Alg/Trig, World history, and so on. I understand how they work and know the tricks to doing well. All the classes I took regents in were advanced/AP so the exams we took for practice were of a higher difficulty than the regents itself. In high school, people always came to me for help, and now In college, I spend my free time volunteering by tutoring elementary school kids. I love tutoring because it brings me such great joy to see how my efforts can shape a ch [more]

I love Science. You do not have to. I have proven my abilities in a full career as a professional chemist and 12 years as a high school science teacher. I attended the Bronx High School of Science, where the Regents' exams were in addition to our final exams, not a substitute for them. I am confident of my ability to help students pass any Regents' exam in science or math. I do not merely show my students how to solve problems, I teach them how to solve problems. This requires much less memorization and a lot more learning. I love Science. You do not have to. I have proven my abilities i [more]
