Tutoring for beginning and intermediate Russian and Italian

I began studying Russian in high school in 1963 and went on to obtain a BS degree from Indiana University of PA in 1969 and an MA in Russian from the University of Virginia in 1970. I began working as a Russian Language Analyst with the Department of Defense (DoD) in 1974 and retired in 2008. While with the DoD I used the Russian language on a daily basis and was involved in several training and mentoring programs. In 1994 I was awarded the title of Master Russian Linguist. From April 2010 to June 2013 I worked as a contractor with the DoD with the same duties as described above. [more]

I chose to finish my music degree there and my Russian was so advanced that I could take advanced courses on a Conservatory level in Russian! I was the envy of the local missionaries who were still struggling with mastering Russian even after having lived there for ten years. I am a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, and multi-talented educator with over 2 decades of teaching experience. I was born in Chicago, IL; lived in Seoul, Korea; Frankfurt, Germany; Bishk [more]
