I am very current with SAS and it is a very difficult software topic. Currently I am working with an econometrics client who is using SAS. Only he and one other student in his class are able to work with the SAS software. The rest of the class are limping along with Excel which is a very cumbersome tool for the kinds of statistics problems being addressed. This graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Wisconsin, Madison is a patient and excellent tutor who is well versed in a wide variety of subjects that have as a common theme that they are mathematically oriented. I am a retire [more]

As a Master of Public Health student in epidemiology/biostatistics I studied SAS. I continued to study and use SAS as a doctoral student. I use SAS now regularly for the statistical analysis of my research projects. I have provided guidance to classmates on the use of SAS. I have a PhD in epidemiology and a Masters in Public Health from USC. My undergraduate degree is in biology. In college I tutored high school math and science. Before graduate school, I spent 3 years tutoring and teaching at a private home school. In graduate school I tutored graduate students in epidemiology and biostatisti [more]

Over the years while teaching statistics, I have also taught SAS. I have taught SAS for 15 years to thousands of students. I have used SAS to perform statistical analysis ranging from descriptive statistics to multiple regression. Although SAS is foreign to students, I have had great success in getting the to understand how to use SAS. I have experience as a law enforcement officer, a practicing attorney specializing in business law, criminal law, wills, and contracts. I have taught for over 15 years in educational institutions throughout Los Angeles and have focused my teachings on law, stati [more]

I have earned a MA in Mathmatics and a MS degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from University of Texas at Arlington. Also, I have been teaching many Math and Computer Information System courses at various colleges (i.e., Everest College) and universities (i.e., UOP, DeVry U) Furthermore, I had been working for many companies and developing applications using SAS. Therefore, I can teach this class. I have a degree of MA in mathematics and a degree of MS in computer science. I have earned both degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington. For my teaching background and expe [more]

I have 5+ years of SAS experience. I am familiar with importing and exporting many different forms of data, and also merging data sets. Some of the PROC functions that I've used include the following: PROC REG PROC CORR PROC MEANS PROC GPLOT PROC G3D PROC ANOVA PROC GLM PROC TABULATE PROC SQL PROC PLOT PROC UNIVARIATE PROC GREPLAY PROC FORMAT PROC LOGISTIC PROC LIFETEST PROC LIFEREG PROC PHREG PROC MIXED PROC GLIMMIX I have taught/tutored for 5 years. I was both a student and graduate assistant at CSULB where I attained a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.S. in Statistics. I have experience tuto [more]

I have used SAS extensively during my PhD research project to statistically compute the feasibility of virtual water trades between the various states in USA. I am a PhD in City Planning with over 15 years of experience in using AutoCAD. I started using AutoCAD in the year 2000 with its Release 18. I have taught AutoCAD to graduate level students for 5 years now and am well-versed with both 2D and 3D aspects of the software. I have been a teaching assistant and instructor for both undergraduate and graduate level courses. During my master's and PhD, I have also intensively used the Microsoft [more]

I have used SAS for more than 5 years. I am very familiar with using SAS for multivariate linear regression models, generalized linear models and other advanced data management techniques. I am very familiar with the basic PROC commands, the data management techniques using data step and SQL. I have a lot of experience using SAS to deal with medical related problems. I have base and advanced certificate in SAS. I am a current Ph.D. Candidate specializing in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and all medical-related research. I have been using SAS for 5+ years and have consulting/tutoring experience [more]

For the last 6 years (at Duke University, and now at UCLA), I have been using SAS to perform data coding and statistical analyses for behavioral and neuroimaging experiments. Statistical analyses I have conducted using SAS include t-tests, GLM and ANOVA procedures, data reduction techniques (such as Principal Component Analysis or Factor Analysis), and regression procedures. I am a PhD student at UCLA, in the topics of Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience. I am a Ph.D. student at UCLA in the topics of psychology and cognitive neuroscience. As a student and teacher, my passion for learning inf [more]

I have used SAS software for over twenty years during my professional career. Currently, I have three certifications issued by the SAS Institute: 1) SAS certification on Base SAS (SAS 9.2) 2) SAS certification on Advanced SAS (SAS 9.2) 3) SAS certification for SAS programming in Clinical Trials in BioPharmaceutical and Medical Devices Industry. All three certifications can be provided upon request. My tutoring areas include Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance and several Computer Languages. My education background includes a B.A. degree in Mathematics, a Master degree in Statistic [more]
