I began programming in SAS in 1997 while in graduate school. After graduating, I worked as a load forecaster for a gas utility, a consultant to the US EPA, and a retail sales forecaster. All of these positions required extensive use of SAS. For the past 6 years I served as an economist at an international energy consulting firm and requires use of SAS on a daily basis. I have extensive experience in using SAS for large database manipulation, forecasting/modeling, data cleaning, survey research and GIS mapping. [more]

I have reviewed SAS (Side, Angle, Side) tests and problems, and the material covered is use of Geometry and Algebra and Trigonometry. I am quite comfortable with all those math subjects in even more detail than used in SAS and do not see any problem coaching anyone in this area of math. I am trained as an electrical engineer and was fortunate enough to spend a rewarding career in that field. I recently decided to change careers in order to teach science and math in high school. I have completed my teaching license program at UMass Boston and earned my M.Ed degree and a MA license to teach Ph [more]

I have more than 20 years of experience using SAS for statistical analysis and data mining. I am fully proficient with base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide and Miner. Expertise with a variety of modules including SAS Stat, ETS, and IML. I am an experienced practitioner in the fields of statistical analysis and data science. I studied management science at the University of Miami and received my masters in business administration. I also hold a master's degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Science and Technology in Algiers. I have spent my career working in market research and a [more]

I started programming in SAS in 1998 and have programmed in SAS since then. I have a Masters in Statistics from DePaul University where SAS was used. At one time I also had the Base SAS certificate (version 8). I have done research using SAS. (16 years experience with modules Base and Stats). I currently teach ESL at nights for "USA English Audiovisual School," in Plainfield, NJ. This gives me little time to tutor for Wyzant. But it does mean that I am very good at teaching English. Most of my experience has been tutoring statistics for graduate students enrolled in non statistics progra [more]

SAS is one of several software packages I use for statistical analysis. If you know another package, converting to SAS can be a bit challenging. It is like another language in how the logic is presented, so getting some help for learning it can be quite helpful. Once you know it, it's VERY POWERFUL. I love using SAS! I especially love the ability to use their MACRO language to shorten routine algorithms that you are going to do a lot of. This can be VERY HANDY. Want to UNDERSTAND those stats tests in your class or for your project? Want help with your dissertation or thesis? If you are stuck [more]

I'm certified in Base SAS and can run a host of statistical analyses with the software. I've worked with several students who didn't know where to start when it comes to statistical software, and given them the confidence they needed to set up their procedures and obtain the required results. Math was my greatest fear until I turned 30, now, it's my absolute favorite subject to think and talk about. I've been helping my students succeed in ALL fields of high school and college math and analytics(Base SAS, Excel, and Python) along with SAT,ACT, GRE, and GMAT Math prep for the past 5 years. Taught SAS Intro and SAS Intermediate for 15 years at NYU Data Services. Consulted in using SAS as a front-end for MySQL. Wrote NYU/Connect article SAS for SPSS programmers. Proficient in SAS Proc GMap to make thematic maps. Worked with SAS callable Sudaan. SAS like all the statistical packages has three basic skill sets which I can teach. One is using SAS to create data sets, using Proc Format to develop good meta-data to document the data. Merging, subsetting and other tools to develop good datasets. Also at this level, one must become involved with weights for complex data. Secondl [more]

I am experienced in basic SAS coding. My SAS coding techniques include but not limited to basic clean-up, recoding, renaming variables, manipulating datasets from different formats, and basic macros. I am able to run statistical techniques such as simple and multiple linear regression, logistic regression, ANOVA, t-test, factor analysis using SAS. Moreover, I proficiently can interpret the SAS results. I have used SAS for academic and professional research. In order to analyze various datasets from governmental organizations, I used SAS. There are some operations such as reduced error logistic [more]

I have over 2+ years working with SAS. I was the teacher assistant for 6 months for other graduate students and I also tutored multiple students for about a year. I have past real world experiences utilizing SAS with the Children Hospital of Philadelphia as a Data Analyst/Research Assistant and Drexel University as a Research Fellow. I am also currently an Analyst 2 for Genesis Research, where I am using SAS to aid pharmaceutical and healthcare companies with data and statistical analysis. My name is Anup. I graduated with B.S. in Biological Sciences from UC Davis in 2014. I recently gradu [more]

I have years of experience working with SAS with different types of data and in different domains. I have worked with real business data and solved many complex data problems using SAS. I'm also SAS certified which is a certification you achieve after passing a difficult exam (70% is the passing mark). I have also worked as an SAS tutor where I have designed courses for business students in MBA course. I can send the SAS passing certificate for your reference. I studied Engineering and then business administration (MBA) at a top university. Engineering taught me fundamentals of problem solvin [more]
