I?ve been tutoring for math unofficially for a few years and I?ve been tutoring through the district for the past year or so. I got a 1550 on the SAT, with an 800 in the math portion (full score) and I got 800/800 on the SAT II Math 2 test. Additionally, I?ve finished all the math courses available a... [more]

SAT math involves a combination of logic and fairly simple mathematics. I know that tutoring to the content as well as the strategy is the most effective method of passing this section, whether the general or subject test. And having perfect scores for both of those, I can share my experience with students. Mathematics is my specialty, but my interests spread broadly and deeply. My tutoring method is a combination of Polya and AVID, I use problem solving and develop methods to guide students to the answers. I take pleasure in working, let me work for you. I took and passed 9 AP tests in high [more]
