I used to work for a company in Houston which specialized in standardized test tutoring. We were taught special tricks and methods to improve students' scores for the SAT and ACT exams. I focus on both explaining the methods to train for these particular tests as well as to teach the mathematics behind the problems to explain the fundamental concepts necessary to not only achieve a good grade on the test, but also succeed in future math courses. I received a 780 on the SAT Math test. I also received a score of 168 (max. score: 170) on the Quantitative Reasoning section of the GRE, which tests many of the same skills as the SAT.
