Although my graduate education focused on languages and literature, I attended a magnet school for math, science, and technology in high school. The school drew a handful of students from each of six surrounding school districts on the basis of ability and achievement and offered a rigorous math and science curriculum. More importantly, I am an experienced educator and have never scored below the 99th percentile on a standardized exam. I can help with the content knowledge as well as the strategies that build confidence and boost scores. [more]

The SAT Math covers topics from Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. If you are in Pre-Calc, you have most likely seen all the information before. While the test is certainly checking for content knowledge, it also checks for a certain level of ability to manipulate the material. This is one area where the SAT likes to do more of that the ACT. Starting with the 2016 testing, the Math portion now has a calculator and non-calculator portion. Though for a large part of the calculator portion, just about all questions can be done without, and usually with less effort or the same [more]

I have been teaching and tutoring so many students in the Detroit area for a long time. I helped so many students to prepare them for the SAT, ACT, GRE, and so on. Dear Student, I know that majority of our students hate math and physics. In my tutoring or teaching experience, I try to start any lesson by asking you questions to see where you need help most.
