Hi Guys, My name is Sanjay. I am a current master's level graduate student who majored in physics at Pacific Union College. I have a very genuine passion for teaching and helping students learn. As cliche as it sounds, I really find joy in helping others better understand concepts or just help them learn something new. I am very patient, kind, hard-working, and have great communication skills. I do my best to guide my students towards, not only the right answer, but the correct thought proce... [more]

I have 15 years of experience teaching mathematics to students of all ages and backgrounds, but I especially enjoy tutoring students one-on-one where I can focus on the student's individual learning needs. Having dealt with mathematics for 10+ years I have had to help students with SAT prep while they are in a Pre-Calculus or they are in Integrated 2/3. Before I became an instructor in mathematics I was also a tutor at a couple of academies in Orange County California, where the focus was strictly for SAT Prep. Furthermore, due to my years of teaching experience through several academies and the Escalate Program, I am well versed in assessment and lesson planning for students involving SAT Math Prep. I am a math minor in college and have taken math classes past college-level calculus 3. I have tutored math up to precalculus level, and I am very enthusiastic about the subject. Algebra specifically is my best subsection in math. When tutoring math, I tend to be flexible to the student's needs, usually by showing simpler examples and then applying these skills toward a more complex problem. I am a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major and a Math minor at the University of Redlands. I have an extensive background in chemistry and mathematics from my participation in the International Baccal [more]

When I took the SAT in high school, I got 720 out of 800! Currently, I tutor at a charter school in San Bernardino and I am the designated high school math tutor! I often work with juniors and seniors so I am very familiar with the math! Has your student been struggling with math or science? Are you looking for a tutor that is able to adjust to meet your student's needs? Look no further! I hold two Bachelors of Arts, one in Music Education and one in Physics. My goal is to become a high school physics teacher. I love working with students and have been working in public schools as a tutor or [more]

I love learning and sharing knowledge. I was top of my high school class and graduated at magna cum laude level. While in college, I worked full-time and eventually served 15 years in the local public school system as a master computer specialist/K-12 instructor. I've actually "retired" from 3 careers, the others being a classical pianist/piano teacher and a tournament chess player. Now I am a pharmacist as well as a successful financial writer. I offer my expertise from most basic scienc... [more]

SAT Math, for most students, sounds intimidating, but after taking the test and advancing further in my math courses in college, I realized the SAT math questions asked are only tried to trick you. I can help students interpret and understand what the question is asking in a simpler version. I have completed up to Calculus 3 in my college career. Growing up asking for help or tutoring from teachers was kinda of intimidating for me. I found it easier and less intimidating when it was someone around my age group. I recently graduated with a Chemistry BS Degree at California State University of L [more]
