I've been teaching science and math at the high school level since 2006. I particularly enjoy teaching physics and algebra. I'm certified to teach high school math, chemistry, physical science, and physics. I've tutored math and physics in the past, and I have always been very honest with parents about student progress and motivation. I've taught primarily algebra (1 & 2) and precalculus topics since 2014. I occasionally teach geometry, and have 7 and half years of experience teaching phy... [more]

I am fully qualified to tutor SAT math as I tutor in many math subjects from elementary math through calculus. My math education includes math subjects through graduate level ordinary and partial differential equations and complex variables. I am very familiar with the SAT Math test as I have helped many students study for the test. I typically improve scores from 50 - 100 points per test by applying automated interactive skill building with test practice. Students have different ways of learning. Not all students learn the same way. I have learn to be patient and assess the best learni... [more]

I personally scored 770/800 in SAT math. Recently I tutored a high school senior in SAT and ACT math. In 2016, he had scored a 17 in ACT math. After our intensive tutoring program, when he took the test again a year later, his score went up by 8 points!! That's comparable to a 300 point increase in the math section of the SAT. I offer professional, one-on-one tutoring in a huge array of academic subjects -- math, English, philosophy, the hard sciences, test prep (e.g., SAT, GRE and LSAT) and more. With fifteen years of experience studying college-level subjects, I have taught in classrooms at [more]

As a student, I was gifted in math. I went through school rarely scoring anything lower than a 95 in math courses. I started tutoring math in January of 2001. I have math tutoring experience from k-12 and college students in courses that include basic math, pre-algebra, algebra, calculus, geometry, ... [more]

SAT Math consists of 54 questions in 3 sections. Test questions cover the application of basic math concepts, algebra, geometry, and data analysis. I can make sure you know, understand, and can apply every math concept tested by the SAT. I can also show you tips to solve the problems faster and to eliminate wrong answers. I first began tutoring in high school for a program at my church. I enjoyed helping others solve problems and develop techniques to remember concepts or turn hard problems into easy problems. I believe that repetition and learning concepts is the key to learning any subject. [more]
