I'm a Teacher for the Deaf. I'm deaf myself & had to learn & use sign language. I'm familiar with the language as I use it daily & in my interactions with others who are deaf. I've tutored a student for about 2 years on how to develop his English & sign language skills. I have been a language model for other students in different contexts (classroom, itinerant teaching, club). [more]

When I worked at the Hershey Medical Center I was often called to other depts to interpret for patients. This was before the ADA, of course as I wasn't a certified interpreter. But I do know some basic signs and can obviously pull out the books I have to review. Als [more]

I have also worked at a school for the Deaf for 8 years, and I am a member of the Deaf community. HI! I'm so excited that you decided to stop by and check out my profile!
