I used SPSS for my graduate classes. Bachelors in Math Education and Masters in Applied Statistics. Several years experience helping students from all levels. I've helped students from different backgrounds--from students with an IEP to gifted students. I have not met a willing student whom I could not help. I excel at clearly explaining challenging math concepts in a way that students can understand. My approach during tutoring sessions is to first show a few math problems step-by-step and answer any questions. Then I have stu... [more]

I've been using and teaching SPSS for over a decade. I have used SPSS as part of my job as an academic researcher, including to analyze my dissertation for my Ph.D. I have taught undergraduate statistics courses which relied on SPSS and assisted in teaching graduate statistics courses which heavily used SPSS. I pride myself on memorable but often silly examples that make sense of abstract math concepts. For example, I compare Type I and Type II error to having a crush on someone. My goal is for you to understand math, not just be able to follow the steps. Teaching is something I enjoy doing a [more]
