When I was in high school, I made a 5 on the AP Statistics exam, and have continued to use statistics as a graduate with a science degree. I first started tutoring high school students when I was in high school myself. While I was an undergraduate in college, I continued tutoring high school students in math and chemistry and began working with college chemistry students as well. While I was working on my Master's degree in chemistry at the University of Georgia, I held my first "official" teaching position--as a teaching assistant for general chemistry lab classes. This experience solidified [more]

My name is Paul G.. I graduated from North Hall High School in 1994, and I graduated from Georgia Tech in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. I have had the pleasure of working in several different industries in my career. I currently work at Cottrell making Car-Hauling Trailers in Gainesville. I have worked with students that I was referred to by family and friends and have also tutored at several different tutoring companies, including Ava White Tutorials and Brenea... [more]

I am an ASQ-certified six sigma green belt and black belt with several years experience using and training in statistical process control, Z scores, normal distributions, regressions, t tests, binomial distributions, Poisson distributions, and more. As a mechanical engineer I have used math for many years. I can also relate it to the student so that they understand the basis of the math problems. When they ask, "Will I ever use this again?" I can give examples of how they will use it. I've helped students go from failing one semester to passing by the end of the year. I've also been able t [more]

7 semesters of statistics courses in college. Previously tutored a high school sophomore taking AP statistics, helped her earn a 4 on the AP exam. I recently took the Introductory Statistics class also known as Elementary Statistics for the Fall 2016 semester. I did very well on the course and I pass it with an A. Out of the 4 cumulative exams my lowest grade was 97. I'm also taking the second course of statistics named Applied Statistics or Regression Analysis for the Spring 2017 semester. Regression Analysis builds up on the Introductory Statistics with case study applications that rely heavily on computational using statistical softwares. It is a course for both undergraduate and graduate students. [more]
