I had a life long interest in statistics. I worked as a professional option trader for most of my adult life. This involved applying statistical concepts to random variables, commodity prices. I was a pioneer in this field as nobody had done this prior to myself and a few other mathematicians. At the high school where I taught, I instituted a statistics course that focused on the solution to practical problems. I approach statistics in an intuitive manner relying on visual representations to enhance an understanding of the problem being analyzed. [more]

I love math and I have used it substantially in my undergraduate studies for my Electrical Engineering degree. I have led many study sess... [more]

Hello, I have always enjoyed helping others with math ever since I was in sixth grade. My classmates always did better than I did after I explained how to do a problem. It wasn't until the last five years of my professional career that I became a professional tutor in a small college in upstate New York. I loved every minute of tutoring I did there. As in all the colleges, there students with varied abilities that came for help; some very bright, some average, and some with learning disabil... [more]
