I have been tutoring basic business statistics at a local school for almost 15 years, including such topics as descriptive statistics, bionomials, basic probabilities, normal distributions (z & t scores, hypothesis testing, proportions). The math involved in statistics is mostly beginning and intermediate algebra, but the concepts themselves can be difficult to grasp. One of the most important ideas to understand in a statistics problem is that the numerical "answer" is only half of the solution. The interpretation of that result is just as important.
