I have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master's degree in Business, and I have been a successful engineer and businessman for nearly 40 years. In that time, I have come to believe that the mastery of statistics required for business are vital to young people in our high-tech world. I was the principal instructor for a major test preparation company for a number of years, and I am certified to teach test prep for the PSAT, ACT, SAT, GMAT, and GRE. For more than ten years, I was an instructor for Math, Reading and Writing for a major after-school education program. As an Aerospace En [more]

I tutored all lower division math classes at the Math Learning Center at Cabrillo Community College for 2 years. I assisted in the selection and training of tutors. I have taught algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, geometry, linear algebra, and business math at various community colleges and a state university for 4 years. I also taught high school geometry for 1 year.... [more]

Private tutor at all levels (high school, college, graduate school and MBAs) of statistics for 8+ years. Data Science and Statistical consultant to small and mid-sized companies. I know statistics inside and out to help you with all the details. I have been tutoring all levels of math for over 10 years now. I really enjoy math as a subject, and try to impart the fundamental concepts of math rather than trying to just teach the algorithms. Math really should be about understanding the logic behind it and less about route processes (we have computers for that). A bit about me. I currently do t [more]

I have experience in statistics from programming (R statistical analysis) and being an assistant teacher in biostatistics for the University of Rochester biology department. Additionally, in high school, I took Statistics AP and scored highly on the AP exam. My passion for teaching was founded by my own experience as a student. Throughout my academic career, the challenges I encountered refined my own approach to understanding subjects, and the ensuing success after overcoming such obstacles brought me further love for learning and those subjects. I want to transmit that feeling of accomplish [more]

I have used statistics many times in my career as an engineer, I have also taught and tutored statistics in an online school, and also have a certification in big data analysis (which is based entirely on statistics). I can help you master math, science and other areas with confidence. My background: MSEE/BSEE from MIT, MBA UC Davis, 30+ years in high-tech, 10+ years tutoring and teaching at an online school. I currently tutor middle-school, high-school and college students in these subjects: Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Integrated Math, Trigonometry, Statistics, Probability, Pre-Calculus, Cal [more]

Hi everyone! I'm Charlie and I help students with their Math class and the Math content for any standardized test. I went to the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA and received my BS in Mathematics and a minor in Economics. I enjoy math, maybe a little too much. I was that friend who tried to get everyone I knew to continue their Math education throughout college. To me, math will always be with us so lets learn as much as we can while we could, but to my friends, I was that annoying ... [more]

I have been successfully tutoring statistics at both the high school AP and college levels for more than four years. Over this period, I have developed support packets to help my students with probability, binomial distributions, least squares regression, and inference testing. The testing packets include decision charts to help determine which sets of equations to use with confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and inference on two samples. My goal in tutoring is to help students build their self-confidence in working with a subject so that they can confidently solve their homework and be [more]

I am a bay area graduate (UC Berkeley) who has loved the learning process all my life. I have used my math and science skills throughout my engineering career, and enjoy engaging others in the learning process. Seeing a student smile as they begin to understand a difficult topic is very rewarding. I specialize in tutoring chemistry, math, and physics to help students achieve success in school, and on the various standardized tests. My goal is not only to help the student learn, but create ... My undergraduate and advanced training in public health requires a deep understanding of statistics. I completed applied statistics courses related to psychology and public health at Brown and Columbia. I used R to conduct data analysis for my award-winning undergraduate honors thesis that was later published in a peer-reviewed journal. I also have been trained to use SPSS since 2013 and have used the software to analyze data for Columbia faculty. Use of SPSS allowed me to complete an intensive data analysis project last summer, and I presented the findings at the annual American Public Health [more]

Statistics is very closely related to probability, which is an area of my expertise. I have worked in many areas of Statistics, including hypothesis testing, t-test, ANOVA, regression, cluster analysis, factor analysis, and time series. I have also used many statistical computing packages. I have a Ph.D. in Math, and taught math and applied math and worked in the industry in applied math for over twenty years. I have tutored in Calculus , Vector Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Probability, Discrete Math and Differential Equations and Physics. My students testify that I explain co [more]
