I have tutored several nurse aspirants in the past year in the area of math for the TEAS. As a math tutor, I am qualified in ACT Math, Precalculus math and all of the relevant subjects covered by those two tests (from pre-algebra through trigonometry). I have an applied math degree and understand that math portion of this test is 38 middle and high school math questions in 51 minutes. I have recent experience tutoring a student for this test. We used one of her books in addition to some practice printouts. The math test requires knowing and writing down simple formulas and solving basic math problems involving decimals and fractions.
