I am a math teacher at the Wayne County Schools Career Center. I have always enjoyed math and I like helping others learn to understand it and enjoy it! I grew up in Columbus, OH but now I live in Wayne County and I like the small, country feel of the area. It is a laid back and friendly place to live! I hope one day to raise a family in this area with my husband. Although I have always enjoyed math, I had to learn at an early age how to break down the concepts and study each math topic... [more]

I may not have "professional" tutoring skills, but I have led plenty of study sessions resulting in a successful grade. My goal, as a tutor, is to supply the tools for my learner to use effectively. I do not promote mediocrity; therefore, I will do everything in my... [more]

Trig is an incredibly useful branch of mathematics. It's used by pasta designers, machinists, oceanographers and physicists. The symmetry and periodic functions are awesome! My strategy for helping students memorize the unit circle has consistently been successful. I always try to tie Trigonometry into other concepts the student already understands. Hello!
