I have experience tutoring about the trigonometric functions, the unit circle, reference angles, etc. I have a BS in Mathematics from the University of California, Riverside. I also attended California State University, San Marcos as a graduate student in Mathematics; the degree is incomplete and I discontinued the program. I've been tutoring since December 2013. I've tutored all ages, K through college. I'm currently employed as a tutor in a group center and so I will have to work around that schedule. I am available Monday through Thursday from noon until 4:00pm or after 7:00pm. If yo. [more]

Greetings! I am a pastor and former English Language Arts teacher with a Masters in English Education open to tutoring students, especially from grade 7 to college in a variety of subjects, including algebra, but especially reading, writing, or grammar/linguistics. If you have an important writing assignment and could use some extra help, are struggling with some particular aspect of reading, writing, or grammar, or are interested in the challenge of reading and writing at your full potential... Math is my passion, and I have pursued it since I realized I loved it back in fifth grade. I entered college wanted to expand my knowledge of math beyond the AP Calculus class I took in high school, and that led me to choosing my career of being and aerospace engineer. To this day, math is still my passion, and I have tried to excite today's youth with the same passion I have in math. I started tutoring as a sophomore in high school, and created a small business of my own my sophomore year of... [more]

I have many years of college math, including trigonometry. I worked for 41 years in the aerospace industry where I used math heavily in my job. As an engineering student, I took six years of undergraduate and graduate-level college math. Regarding content, my coursework covered the spectrum, covering trig, probability, calculus, linear algebra, and advanced engineering math. As an engineer for over 41 years, I programmed and tested highly complex mathematical algorithms. I also had the opportunity to teach soldiers and other engineers, and I did get positive feedback from my students. [more]

I have taught trigonometry as a course to college students and tutored students in it at all levels. Trigonometry literally means "triangular measurement". Trigonometry involves the unique relationships [functions] between sides and angles of triangles. It is my belief that understanding that Trigonometry is the study of the unique ratio of sides for each angle of a triangle is the main thing that is needed for a student to master a course in Trig. YOU CAN LEARN and I CAN SHOW YOU HOW to: +++Overcome Fear of Failure +++Master "Hard" Subjects +++Find Success in Learning It is my belief that [more]

With two years of tutoring experience, I have helped my tutees come leaps and bounds in their education. I tutor Chemistry, Biology, up to Calculus level math, Foreign Language, and English. My pupils develop stronger academic skills in Reading, Math, and Writing. I also make it my mission to go further and help students develop better concentration, focus, and attention span. I have dealt with Math anxiety, reading trouble, and independent learning, so my students gain more confidence and mo... [more]

I have deep passions for physics, astronomy, mathematics, and computer science. I graduated from University of California, Riverside in 2016 with my B.S. in physics. I worked at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for the last year and am looking to share my school and work experience with people needing tutoring. I like programming in my free time; I have a long history of working with C++ and C#. I was originally majoring in pure mathematics. Before I switched to physics, I took upper-divis... [more]
