I have taught geometry courses that deal with the cosines sines and tangents. I enjoy teaching students about angles and shapes. I also have a great song to remember how to find the angles of sines cosines and tangents. I went to the University of Arizona to become a math teacher. I graduated in 2013 and I immediately got a job at Basis. I am currently in my 3rd year of teaching math at Basis. I teach 5th graders Pre-Algebra and I also teach 10th-12th Graders Linear Algebra and Number Theory. I have taught 5th graders Pre-Algebra for the past three years. Trigonometry is more than just angles, sin(x), and cos(x). It's everywhere in our lives, from architecture to woodworking to construction, 3D modeling, physics, and sports. When teaching my students Trigonometry, I find a topic that uses the math and also inspires that student. In the process I make sure to cover the material they need to know for school or their exams in ways that they find interesting. I tailor my lessons to the student, making it as enjoyable a learning experience as possible. More importantly, I tailor my instruction to the student's weaknesses and I patiently address eac [more]
