Most students know Trigonometry with sine, cosine, tangent, and unit circle. I make sure that students fully understand these concepts and learn how to use the identities to deal with them. Trigonometry plays a great role on higher level mathematics specially Calculus. I encounter many Calculus students which they have hard time because they lack Trigonometric skills. I always make sure my students understand each topic fully before I move to a new one. I am a patient and experienced tutor that is doing this job professionally. I have tutored several students in Trigonometry from local high schools such as Esperanza, Troy, and Yorba Linda. The topics covered ranged from unit circle, trig. identities, trig. function graphing, and the application of trigonometry to science and engineering. I have always had a love of learning and teaching. I have worked with students for over 20 years. I started tutoring when I was in high school. I tutored fellow high school students in Math starting my junior year. When I attended Cal Poly, I tutored science and engineering students on campus. And finally, when I studied at St [more]

Trigonometry is typically not taught as a standalone subject. It is usually folded into a precalculus/math analysis class taken the year after Algebra 2. By far, student regularly cite this as the most challenging portion of a precalculus class. It requires a great deal of memorization and an ability to juggle multiple equations/identities. I usually spend a great deal of time drilling students in the unit circle. We then transition to the basic and intermediate identities. Proving an identity is typically the hardest task. Once students develop their basic knowledge sufficiently, I give t [more]

I have taken trigonometry in my high school years and at time of transferring into the college I took it again. I did very well both times, and that wasn't the end of it. you will keep seeing it through calculus. But I feel like that helped me with plenty and now I'm ready to share the knowledge. Hey students, and friends I hope you are all doing well and eager to pursue higher education. I would like to say that many of us just tackle homework problems and get bored of school work. True education is fun and exciting and will make you look forward to more tougher, challenging subjects. I am a [more]

I am a Master's in Mathematics. I have always loved mathematics since birth and I have always done well in all subjects, but specially excelled in Maths; in school, college, and university. It comes natural to me and i would love to instill this mental strength into my students. I belief that students/parents get afraid of the word Math, but i can assure you it is not the subject, but a teacher. Great Teachers are hard to find always. But what i did, was learned from good teachers what to... [more]
