Artistic Math and Science Lover with a Gift for Explanation

I am a Computer Science major at Trinity University. In my CS1 class, we were not allowed to use an IDE when working on assignments. Instead, they insisted we do everything through the terminal or consoles, which is UNIX on the Linux OS used in the CS department at Trinity, in order to familiarize ourselves with the command line environment.
