Chemical Engineer preparing for retirement

My mother was a music teacher for the Washoe County school district (re: Reno, NV) and taught violin privately. I started violin when I was 6 years old and have played many years in orchestras and even joined the Reno Musicians Union for a couple of years before going to Willamette University on a music (piano) scholarship.
