I have an undergraduate degree in Foreign Service and a Master's in International Management. I took a considerable number of history courses for both those degrees. While I placed out of both of the basic World History courses, I took undergraduate and graduate courses in English, Chinese, and West African history and Government and Politics of Latin America. And, while working on a PhD in Political Science, I took courses that covered a considerable amount of history of Japan, China, and the former Soviet Union. In law school, I took courses on Japanese and Mexican law, courses which delved considerably into the history of those two countries. I have also read widely in world history, but have focused primarily on histories of Germany, England, Russia, Hong Kong, and China. I also have considerable experience teaching, training and tutoring.
I am an attorney, licensed in California, and have been a stellar test taker through the years. I have outstanding scores on the ACT, SAT, GMAT, and GRE, but the best of all was the LSAT where I scored in the 99.1 percentile. I am also a very good teacher/trainer/tutor.
I have always been a good standardized test taker and did very well on the ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT and the LSAT. My GRE score helped me obtain a Graduate Assistantship in a PhD program. I am also very experienced at teaching, tutoring and training.
I am well qualified to teach any elementary school student. I have an undergraduate degree in Foreign Service (International Relations) in which I focused on political science, economics, and geography. I also have a graduate degree in International Management. I have taught math to students in the Head Start program in Houston, Texas and to my own kids through the years. My son is now in 9th grade and my daughter is in 5th. I have also tutored my own children in reading, writing, geography, history, government, and science and they both have become excellent students. I look forward to working with your child.

I am an attorney, licensed in the state of California. The California bar exam is considered to be one of the two toughest bars to pass in the country. I am a very good tutor, trainer and teacher and believe I can do a great job helping someone to prepare for a bar examination.
I am an attorney, licensed to practice law in California. In law school, I took the required Criminal Law course. Also, many of the courses I took in law school, including two immigration law courses, civil procedure, and evidence, had portions that dealt with the criminal law. As an attorney, I interacted with the criminal justice system on behalf of clients or when a criminal enforcement agency would contact me about a party I was suing on behalf of one of my clients.
With an undergraduate degree in Foreign Service (international relations), masters in International Management and Divinity, a law degree and 18 hours toward a PhD in Political Science, I am very knowledgeable about the subjects covered in Social Studies. I have also worked on political campaigns, interned in a governor's office, worked on another governor's inauguration staff, and practiced law. But, not only is my background appropriate in terms of knowledge, I am also strong at teaching, training and tutoring. I look forward to helping your student improve his or her grade in social studies.
I have been a student of the Classics for most of my life. From my background in the theatre, undergraduate degree in Foreign Service, Master of Divinty from seminary, and my own personal interests and reading, I have developed a strong background in the Classics. I am very well read in Greek and Roman mythology including having read Homer's "The Odyssey" and "The Iliad", Euripides "Iphigenia at Aulis",and stories of Romulus and Remus, Oedipus, and Antigone to name a few. I have also read the Bible multiple times and biographies and plays on Alexander the Great, Julius Ceasar, Mark Antony & Cleopatra. I am broadly and generally familiar with classical Greece, Rome, Macedonia, Sparta, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Israel, and Egypt. In college, I took a course on Ancient Religions of the Near East in which I studied about the religions of Sumer, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Akkad and others. In seminary, along with studying the classical Greek and Hebrew languages and the Bible, I learned more about the religions, culture and geography of the Middle East during the classical period.
Thirty-nine hours of my undergraduate degree in Foreign Service, were political science hours and I acquired 9 hours of graduate political science courses while working on my Masters of International Management. While obtaining this Masters, I was a graduate assistant for a State political science course in which I provided tutoring for students taking the course. I took another 18 hours of political science course work while working toward a PhD in Political Science at the University of Houston. Furthermore, I have worked on political campaigns, interned in a governor's office, worked on another governor's inauguration staff, and practiced law.
I would make an excellent SAT reading tutor. I have always done well on standardized tests, receiving outstanding scores on the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT and LSAT; all of which have a large reading test component. I also have considerable experience as a teacher, trainer and tutor.
