Zoology

I have take a number of classes dealing with Zoology. As an undergraduate, I took "Introduction to Cell & Molecular Biology", "Introduction to Organismal & Population Biology", "Environmental Chemistry", "Cell and Molecular Biology" as well as "Microbiology". I have also taken the following graduate level courses: "Advanced Biochemistry I", "Advanced Biochemistry II", "Molecular Aspects of Pathogenesis", "Molecular Biology", "Biochemistry" as well as "Cellular Biology" Along with my work with various animal model systems, including fruit flies, zebrafish and mice, in basic science research over the last ten years, I have an excellent grasp of Zoology.

Botany

I have take a number of classes dealing with Botany. As an undergraduate, I took "Introduction to Cell & Molecular Biology", "Introduction to Organismal & Population Biology", "Environmental Chemistry", "Cell and Molecular Biology" as well as "Microbiology". I have also taken the following graduate level courses: "Advanced Plant Physiology", "Plant Molecular Biology", "Advanced Biochemistry I", "Advanced Biochemistry II", "Molecular Aspects of Pathogenesis", "Biochemistry" as well as "Cellular Biology" The classes, in conjunction with my research using Arabidopsis thaliana and various Brassica oleracea strains, gave me an excellent grasp of Botany.

Biostatistics

I worked in basic science research laboratories for 10+ years. During my career, I have had to perform statistics on the data that result from the experiments I and other have performed. I have taken Statistics class as an undergrad as well as "Overview of Bioinformatics and Genomics" and "Method and Logic in Biology" during my graduate work.

Genetics

I have take a number of classes dealing with Genetics. As an undergraduate, I took "Genetics" as well as "Molecular Genetics". I have also taken the following graduate level courses: "Advanced Genetics I" "Advanced Genetics II" "Overview of Bioinformatics and Genomics" "Fundamentals of Genetics"
