I teach applied Music Theory for all instruments and Voice: Harmony, Notation, Sight-Reading, Sight-Singing, Counterpoint, and Composition. I have 30+ years of experience and 4+ years of formal music training.
Students will be taught how to listen to chords, intervals and scales and identify them by ear. They will also learn how to sing and sight-sing music notation. I have had 30 years of Experience, and 4 years formal training.
Guitar is the first instrument that I learned in the 3rd grade. I teach all Guitars: Electric, Bass, Spanish, Classical and Twelve String. Topics covered include: Finger Picking Technique, Power Chords, Playing by Ear and Music Notation. Styles I'm familiar with include Classical, Rock, Jazz, Folk, R&B, Avant Guarde. I have over thirty years experience.
I teach Piano Keyboard for Non-Pianists, Keyboard Theory, Correct Scale and Chord Fingerings. Topics include: Diatonic Scales (Major and Modal, etc), Artificial Scales (Whole tone and Diminished, etc., Left Hand Bass with Blocked Chords for the Right Hand, Left Hand Chords with Melody for the Left Hand, Improvised Solos and Accompaniment.
