I am a graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in English studies, and a minor in Japanese language. I am a certified K-9 school teacher, highly qualified for reading, writing, and math. As part of my experience in my Master of Arts in Education program, I received instruction in language arts and writing for students K-9. This includes experience with various curricula, writing workshops, and grammar and punctuation instruction. In addition, my work as a preschool teacher for the past two years has given me experience in early writing development and instruction, from making controlled marks on a paper, to students writing their first words.
