I am an experienced elementary school teacher and graphic designer. As a teacher and business owner, I feel I am well able to meet the needs of those I tutor. Microsoft Word

I used Microsoft Word personally and professionally for over 15 years. Microsoft Word is a Word Processing program which allows you to create and edit documents. If you are new to Word or want to refresh your skills, I can teach you the basics; how to write, edit, and create documents and enhance them by adding images or graphics, format text, use spell check, and more. This is a great way to learn word processing skills for the workplace.

HTML is a script language. It is used to create websites which are viewed in web browsers such as IE, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. I have used HTML for over ten years to create personal and client websites or web pages.

General Computer

I have taught children and adults basic (general) computer skills. Skills or lessons taught focused on using the mouse, keyboard skills (typing skills), opening and closing programs, saving files, locating files, how to copy and paste files and text and saving work to a cd for Mac and PC. I enjoy helping those who have a desire to learn and become more acquainted with their computer. Basic Computer skills are a must today so if you are in need of learning or touching up your computer skills, I'm the tutor for you.

I've used a Macintosh computer for over ten years for business and personal use. I am more than able to help someone learn how to navigate, use the software, customize items, use finder to find files and folders, use keyboard shortcuts, switch between open apps and much more.
