I hold a degree in Art and English from the University of Northern Iowa (GPA 3.758) in 1973. In 1982, I was promoted from an Engineering Technician to a Marketing Specialist. At that time my employer paid me to go back and earn an Associates degree in Business Administration from Buena Vista University (GPA 4.0). From that point, I held business management positions with from Manager of Marketing Services to Marketing Manager to Director of Marketing Communications for International HVAC companies with over $250 million in sales, directing the marketing activities of four divisions. Since 2000, I have owned and operated a Marketing Communication Consulting Business in which I perform many services to clients including creating, writing, and carrying out business plans. I have over 30 years of practical experience guiding businesses to increased sales, profits and productivity.
