I have a Master's in education K-12, I have taken phonetics and linguistics. I have been tutoring reading and phonics for students and have references available upon request. I use a multi-sensory approach, I do word blending, and word segmentation. I let the students clap syllables and work on a rhythm while building fluency. I use multiple intelligences: I show it, say it and then have the student repeat, and write it down, this is similar to Orton Gillingham. I am taking an online dylexia program with the University of London.
I worked for dramatic education an after school drama program. I attended trainings every semester with professional Disney actors. I completed training in puppetry, stage combat, and musical theater. The owner of the dramatic education company in Orlando is Marsha Robbins, and I also worked with Ellie Hauser from united cerebral palsy doing the summer camp theater for special needs, the program is called "Shakespeare with heart."
