I was introduced to SAS through my graduate studies at UC Santa Barbara in 2012. After completing the class with a perfect score, I joined an Economic consulting firm, where I utilized and strengthen my coding skills in SAS and developed more efficient ways to analyze data. I have been using SAS for data analytics since 2012 in school setting, and since 2013 at a professional setting. SAS is my choice of platform for large data-sets even though I am capable of using other statistical and computing tools if required. I have also collaborated with my co-workers to set up SAS training sessions that are still used to educate and train our new employees. Given that I was formally taught SAS, this gives me the advantage to not only use the tool but also teach and train those who are interested in developing the working knowledge of data analytics with SAS.
