I tutor basic reading, writing, math, and science skills to children of age 5 and up. With respect to reading, I help students with phonetics, comprehension, pronunciation, and analyzing the material. In terms of writing, I focus on legibility, spelling, grammar, and getting thoughts into actual writing. As for Math, I tutor arithmetic, geometry, pre-algebra, algebra, and trigonometry.

Differential Equations

I have taken courses in elementary differential equations, ordinary differential equations, as well as partial differential equations. I can help a student to understand anything ranging from the characteristic equation all the way to third order non-linear, non-homogeneous differential equations.


I have used Mathematica for about two years now, and have been tutoring beginner students for about a year. I have used Mathematica to build basic programs, and modules for my computational class. I can show you how to solve simple physical problems, and make motion animation of these problems using this software. Like maple or MATLAB, Mathematica is a powerful computation language/tool that requires time and patients. I can tutor students anywhere from understanding and using the basics, all the way to graphing spherical harmonics and solving second order differential equations using Mathematica.
