I taught Japanese at a charter school for over 5 years. I have a secondary teaching license with a Japanese language endorsement. My mother is Japanese, so I have been speaking Japanese since I was little. I finished up to high school in a Japanese public school, and lived there until I was 19.
I have a BA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from BYU-Hawaii. I received my TESOL graduate certificate from BYU in 2008. I have taught English in Japan, Taiwan, and here in the States (UT and HI). I have been teaching ESL/EFL for almost 10 years now.
