I have been teaching Spanish Language and Literature for 32 years. Of these, about 14 years have been at the high dchool level. I have taught all levels of Spanish at the High School level, including Spanish I, II, III, IV, V, AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature. I have also designed several courses for my school. I have a PhD in Spanish and a high school teaching certificate. This has allowed me to teach all levels of high school Spanish. It has also prepared me to teach Spanish at the university level which I have done for 17 years.
Even though I have never taught English literature, I have extensive experience teaching Spanish literature. I have taught all literary genre to AP high school Spanish students who are preparing for their national exams. My students normally score 5, which is the highest score one can earn on this particular exam.
I have a PhD in Spanish. I have tutored English as a Second Language both at the high school and at the university levels. I learned English grammar at a private Catholic high school at a time when diagramming sentences was being taught, so I have a great command of English grammar.
