I am a retired mathematics teacher who spent 38 years in the educational system. As a master teacher I have worked with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I am certified by the Texas Education Agency in Pre-K & Kindergarten, General studies (grade 1-6). I am a Certified Administrator of all levels of public education by the Texas Education Agency I served as a Principal of different Elementary Schools which housed anywhere from Grade levels Pre-K through 6th for seven years. In this position, I not only worked with the students but also did individual work with those who were struggling.


Study Skills

I was a teacher for 31 years, during which time I taught how to study for exams and also for standardized tests & state mandated testing. I am certified by Texas Education Agency in Pre-K & Kindergarten, General studies (grade 1-6), and Math (grades 6-12). I am also a Certified Administrator of all levels of public education by the Texas Education Agency. In addition, I served as a Principal of different Elementary Schools which housed anywhere from Grade levels Pre-K through 6th for seven years. In this position, I not only worked with the students but also did individual work with those who were struggling.


Praxis

I was a math teacher for 31 years. My favorite courses were Algebra I and III, but I taught everything up to Pre- Calculus. I was also a principal for seven years and taught many new teachers not only how to pass their certification test but also help them succeed in their job.


TAKS

During my years of teaching and the time that TAKS was in force I taught classes in the subject. My strength was to work with the students who had failed the test at least once and generally more than once. My success rate in getting the students to pass was around 97 percent.
