I've been working with Illustrator since 2000 and stay current with the latest Creative Cloud version. Most recently, I designed a package for Lighthouse Rum Cakes in Shelton, CT and won a design award from the box packaging council. At present, I use Illustrator to design advertisements for a publisher in Fairfield. In addition, establishing an efficient and effective workflow between Illustrator and Photoshop will maximize design potential.
I am proficient in using Lightroom 5 as well as previous versions to manage photo workflow and have experience with all the modules. The learning curve for Lightroom can be steep and it is often helpful to work one-on-one when setting up a new workflow or modifying an existing one. I managed a professional Photo Studio for several years and we frequently used Lightroom presets to enhance photos. At present, I operate my own Photography and Design Company in CT where my professional workflow includes additional editing in Photoshop when necessary.
I am proficient in all versions of Adobe Photoshop up to and including Creative Cloud 2014 and Lightroom 5, including all aspects of workflow management. Photoshop is a complex subject with a fairly steep learning curve. I have over ten years of experience with this program and am cross platform proficient. I have instructed Photoshop at New Horizons Computer training Center in Trumbull, CT. I have also studied digital photography and advanced Digital photography at Southern Connecticut State University. I am an award winning graphic designer and photographer recently winning a judged award from the New York Botanical Gardens. I also conduct one on one, customized training sessions for Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 in both offices and homes and have offered this service for approximately ten years. Topics which are typically covered include: histogram analysis, layers, adjustment layers, basic and advanced editing, composites, masks, selections, black and white conversions, writing actions, web optimization, High Dynamic Range photography, composition, image sizing, image resolution, color correction, and color management. I typically provide a list of resources when visiting clients and work with a customized agenda for each session.
