I have been teaching English to speakers of other languages for more than 10 years. I have two Master's: one in Linguistics (English and Italian) and the other one in Education, Dual Language Development. During the University years I studied English grammar thoroughly as well as other aspects of the language (syntax, semantics, phonology, pragmatics, structure, punctuation, spelling, history of the language). I have prepared a great number of students for the exam of TOEFL. I also carry an ESL/ESOL certificate from Oxford seminars.
I am a native speaker of the Russian language. Most of my life I have been dealing with languages and have a Master's Degree in Linguistics. My Mother is a teacher of the Russian Language and Literature, and I learned a lot from her, such as what methods and approaches to use with the students in order to help them succeed in a relatively short period of time. Russian is one of the most difficult languages with a very complex grammar, and one needs to know the structure of the language perfectly in order to be able to convey it to the students in an accessible and clear way. My skills, academic and professional experience make it possible for me to teach efficiently.
