Award Winning University Professor for Tutoring

Teaching students is one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever known. Whether teaching to a large classroom or in a small group or in one-to-one sessions, the feeling I get when a student gains understanding of a concept or when a student's grades improve is immensely satisfying. SAT Reading

I have helped several students prepare for the SAT and critical reading is one of my skills that I use everyday in my job. I scored quite high on the reading part of the SAT and GRE and have tutored students for these in the reading area.

ACT Math

My undergraduate degree was in Zoology. Since, I have continued to follow developments in zoology while specializing in physiology research.

I have taken three genetics courses in college and have continued to read about research in the field of genetics. I collaborate with geneticists on my own research in physiology.

I have taken multiple nutrition courses in college and read extensively in the field of nutrition. Nutrition affects my own area of research in physiology and I collaborate with nutrition researchers.

I have taken some AFOQT practice tests online and found the questions to be similar to ASVAB and other general knowledge tests with the addition of some block manipulation. I scored well and am confident that I can help students prepare for the test. The math and vocabulary and reading parts are all quite similar to SAT or ACT.
