Algebra 1 is the foundation for all the next level math topics. For this reason, I explain the Algebra 1 topics in great details to my students and make sure they understand each topic before moving to the next topics. I also assign practice problems to make sure they are ready for the next level.
Algebra 2 is the continuation of Algebra 1 and Geometry. This course combines topics from both prerequisites to explain mathematical topics more in depth. Algebra 2 is very important for students since it will make them ready for precalculus and beyond. Instead of lecturing the same topics over and over again, I ask my students to do practice problems and point out their mistakes. When I feel they are confident on the topic, I will move to the next one.
I am professional on explaining Calculus topics such as derivatives, integrals, limits optimization, related rates, sequences and series, divergence and convergence, vectors, multivariable calculus, volumes, implicit differentiation, double and triple integrals, differential equations as well as mean value theorem.
Geometry is the knowledge of working with perfect shapes, which is required to understand how to deal with imperfect shapes. Geometry is another pillar for Algebra 2 in addition to Algebra 1. I had many Algebra 2 students that were lacking skills from Geometry. It is absolute requirement for advancing in the math. I am very experienced in tutoring geometry, since it is one of the topics that I get lots of requests for. I can help your kid understand the basics of the geometry with easy steps and examples that make sense.
I am an expert on tutoring pre-calculus. Pre-calculus is one of the topics that is very challenging for students since it covers vast variety of topics from Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and elementary Calculus. My teaching style does challenge students to their limits. After I explain the material, I make sure they understood the topic by assigning them practices before I move to the next topic. I make sure that my students have all the skills needed for their next math level, which is Calculus.
Most students know Trigonometry with sine, cosine, tangent, and unit circle. I make sure that students fully understand these concepts and learn how to use the identities to deal with them. Trigonometry plays a great role on higher level mathematics specially Calculus. I encounter many Calculus students which they have hard time because they lack Trigonometric skills. I always make sure my students understand each topic fully before I move to a new one.
As an Economist I had to take full sequence of Statistics. I am confident on explaining Statistical concepts such as probability, z-score, test statistics, sample and population mean, variance, standard deviation and proportions, density functions, uniform, binomial, poisson, exponential, and normal distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, chi square analysis, comparison of two populations, regression lines, least square regression method, as well as using calculator and softwares to apply Statistics on data.
My SAT math sessions are full of practice. Instead of lecturing the same topics over and over again, I assign lots of practice problems and explain steps and shortcuts as my students work on the problems. I also make my students feel they are in exam environment by timing their responses, which helps them to manage their time efficiently in the exam.

I finished my degrees on Business Administration, and Economics. Although the requirement for my Economics major was one quarter of Econometrics, due to personal interest I passed three different courses in Econometrics. In addition to having great understanding of theoretical Econometrics, I apply Econometrics to my Business ideas too. This gives me unique ability to explain Econometrics to my students as applied and theoretical.
