I have taken many Biology courses at Wofford College, so I hope that my knowledge from working with scientist and professors through labs and dialogue will be able to help others. I have a passion for biology that stems from childhood, where my favorite book was about the systems of the body. Biology as a subject is broad and varied, but once you realize the biologic similarities between organism it becomes an easier subject to grasp. For anyone struggling with the subject, I hope the freshness of knowledge with help you develop a love for biology like the one I have.

As a college student, I have all the basic science knowledge needed to help a elementary-aged child in science. I think that adding fun activities helps young children better retain information.

Study Skills

In the past, I found it hard to settle down and create a solid study plan; I was unorganized and did everything last minute. Wanting to change this, I pursued help from a teacher who also specialized in study tips. With help from her I isolated my current habits and created a plan based from my needs to help create study skills that worked best for me. Since then, I have been working with professors at Wofford College to create a program that would give incoming freshman study skills that would help them adjust to college. You may encounter difficulties in academic career, but having a base with good study skills is an essential part of the equation. Everyone studies different and finding what works best for them is the most important step. I hope to provide you with study skills in order to make you successful in your endeavors.
