My training includes Master's and Doctoral degrees in Exercise Physiology and Educational Research. While working as a research assistant at University of Miami, one of my main functions was to program all statistical analyses for the laboratory using SAS programs. In addition to work for the lab, much statistics were performed in conjunction with various physician's, i.e. Diabetes Research Institute at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Statistical design and programming was also done for doctoral candidates dissertation. As my area of study was exercise physiology, all statistics were based on physiological functions as well as risk factor assessment and anthropometric measurements. I have also contributed to scientific journal articles, i.e. Journal of Applied Physiology as well as presenting at American College of Sports Medicine annual meeting.
I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as teaching Health and Fitness, Weight Training, Aerobic Wellness, Total Wellness, Wellness Workout courses at major south Florida colleges for years. I have also developed online Weight Training classes.
