Daniel P. has been teaching chemistry for 16 years as a lecturer, lab class leader and tutor. He has taught at Ohio State, Capital University and Columbus State among others. Classes have been mostly organic and general chemistry, but has also taught biochemistry, spectroscopy, pharmacology and non major classes. Student evaluations are always high and tutor students are happy. At TPR, organic chemistry for the MCAT has been the focus. His degrees are from the University of Nevada (Ph.D. Ch... [more]
I have extensive experience teaching and tutoring chemistry. I have taught chemistry for 16 years.
I have taught biochemistry classes at the college level and know the material well. It is generally half introductory material and the processes: replication, transcription and translation and half metabolic pathways: glycolysis, Kreb's and oxidative phosphorylation being emphasized.
Organic chemistry is the chemistry of carbon. It is mostly about syntheses and mechanisms. My Ph.D. is in organic chemistry. I have taught and tutored organic chemistry many times at the college level and know the material quite well.
