?The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.? --Dr. Seuss ?I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.? --Groucho Marx Reading for me is the basis for a good education, along with math, English, and science. My strongest subjects are reading and science. I have a passion for both, but my major of choice is broadcasting. I take time to get a feel of how... [more]

Algebra 1

Algebra tends to be a somewhat difficult subject only because of all the formulas involved, but it can become easier.

American History

History is not the most enjoyable subject for kids, but it can be turned into a fun activity. My specialty is WWII era.

Microsoft Excel

I'm more familiar with excel 2007; although, I have seen excel 2010, and I don't see much difference, and I have an excel 2007 book for reference.

Microsoft Word

I have used Word since elementary, and I still use it now for my classes.

Microsoft PowerPoint

I have worked with power point program for several years now.

Reading

I personally love reading and can spend hours reading. I think it's a very enjoyable activity. I have taken tests, and my results say that I read at a high level.

Spanish

Spanish is my primary language. I speak it everyday at home and I recently took a Spanish class at school and passed it with a good grade. I mainly took the class to brush up on the grammatical rules. I like the language and it's very beneficial.

Spelling

I enjoy a good spelling test. With technology advancing some people don't really focus on spelling because of Autocorrect, but I personally rather not rely on a computer to spell correctly for me.

Video Production

I studied video production for 3 years. Bachelors degree in digital film with emphasis in production. Familiar with Adobe after effects, Sony Vegas, Final Cut and more.

Needlework

I know the basics of how to crochet. iI found knitting a bit hard for me. I have done a few several projects on my own, mainly hats and headbands and flowers and other creations I come up with. I know how to chain stitch, how to slip knot, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, I also know how to begin a project with the magic circle. I also know to loom knit a bit, which isn't exactly difficult. I have also made a pair of baby booties for a friend. I like crochet more than knitting because with crochet you can always go back and fix mistakes but with knitting it's just a bit harder.
